The Forfar Branch of the Royal Scottish Country Dance Society was formed on the 29th of October, 1934. The membership currently stands at 43 members and we meet, for dance practice, every Tuesday evening during the winter months, at 1930 hours, in the East & Old Church hall, Chapel Street, Forfar (Starting 16 September, 2008). Everyone is welcome to join us, whether a member or not. Tuition is provided by Sheila Donald and the admission price is £2.50. Live music is provided by John Whyte usually 1st Tuesday of every month.
Any member who wishes to add information on this site should e-mail details to the new webmaster Angus Spence. Please look back regularly to see how it is taking shape. A brand new feature for 2008 is our new BLOG, here you can comment on dance practice, rscds issues, branch issues or any subject you like really.
